Today I looked at the horizon at Nai Harn beach and I was thinking how lucky I am to be here living the dream! I am grateful to the Gods!
Exactly 4 years ago I came to Thailand for a 4 weeks holiday /training vacation.
But I fell in love with Muay thai and the Kingdom of Siam and I ended up leaving my artist life and acting career in New York City, moving to Thailand for the good and living and fighting here for 4 years.
I had my first professional fight in Chiang Mai and won by rd 3 KO against a Thai fighter.
I then moved to Phuket where I had several fights in the local stadiums, won the Patong and Bangla stadium belts and was then invited by a promoter to fight for a WPMF World Title at the prestigious King’s Birthday event in Bangkok.
I then moved to Bangkok where I experienced the poor life of the real nak muays living in the Thai gym, waking up at 5.30 am every morning to go run 10 km. eating breathing and sleeping like them, wanting to become one of them….
Here I am. Four years later. It has been along ride, I had the best time of my life, became a professional fighter, 44 Muay thai fights, 31 Wins and 13 losses, 3 Wins by Ko’s. and 1 pro Boxing fight, 2 X WPMF and WMA 63.5 kg World champion and WMF World amateur champion.
After training and fighting in Bangkok and internationally in China, France, Italy, Holland, USA, Australia and Malaysia, for 2 years out of Keatkhamtorn and Sitsonpeenong gyms,
here I am back at the roots sponsored fighter training at Phuket Top Team in Phuket.
The last year hasn’t been easy and quite challenging as I have been recovering from two major injuries.
I have to thank my sponsors Yokkao boxing and Phuket Top Team for their support and MPL for the opportunity they gave me. Also all my friends and fans for the warm wishes and constant support. I wouldn’t have done it without you!
I am ready to get back in the ring available for fights from Feb 2012 on and eager to win some more titles!..There is more to come!
Happy New Year 2012
I wish all your dreams to come true!
